Nowadays, in Italy, every 1.200 newly born babies one has the Down Syndrome. AIPD, the Italian Association of People with Down Syndrome (DS), has been training a staff of cooks, waiters and sommeliers, with the aim of promoting their work, social placement and autonomy.
Together with our “AIPD Shapers Companions” we aim at raising awareness towards the acceptance and valorization of people with Down Syndrome through the discovery of art, history and culinary traditions of our territory.
