Inquinamen(t)o is a manifesto of the water contamination linked to a PFAS (perfluoroalkylated substances) leakage occurred in the Veneto Region.
Water Contamination
The water contamination discovered by Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in 2013 affected both surface and groundwater of an area of 180 kms between the provinces of Vicenza, Verona and Padua, where about 300,000 citizens live.
Inquinamen(t)o aims at increasing the awareness about the state of health of local water sources describing the context of PFAS emergency, shedding light on actions undertaken by policy-makers and providing important information on next steps of the emergency to citizens. For further information,
